About Zoe
My journey with glass art began as a child when I was given a fused glass pendant by my Mum. That early spark ignited my lifelong love of colour and light. Having moved to Cornwall with my husband and son in 2011, I was lucky enough to showcase my work in Gallery Anthony for the first 5 years. In this time, I learnt so much from the owners, Marjorie and Anthony Smith, about running a Gallery / Studio and how to find joy in everything!
In 2016, my dreams of having my own studio became a reality when the unit next door to Gallery Anthony became available. My husband transformed it into the bright, airy open studio that it now is, and I proceeded to FILL it with colourful glass, bringing light and life to a space that encourages creativity. In my craft workshop, I aim to unlock the unknown arty side to even the most sceptical artists—with plenty of fun and laughter along the way! Whether you’re looking for a unique gift idea or a memorable Mother day gift, my studio is the perfect place to explore designing glass and celebrate creativity, regardless of the Cornwall weather!
About the STUDIO: Your Destination For Craft Workshop
Welcome to Mullion Glass Studio & Workshop, an artistic shop and creative sanctuary nestled in the heart of Mullion, Cornwall, UK. In the studio, you will find a vast array of beautiful glass art, all lovingly made by hand by me. Each piece is unique and no two will ever be exactly the same – as opposed to factory-produced glass. My mission is to focus on enthusing and inspiring people through creativity, providing a calm and inclusive space where everyone can discover the hidden artists inside. We also offer craft workshop designed for all skill levels, perfect for those looking to explore designing glass.
Looking ahead, I am excited to expand the online presence of the studio and now offer kits that allow you to create beautiful glass art at home and send it to me to be fired.
The Chocolate Factory and the rest of the Craft Centre:
The Centre is a wonderful mixture of shops—something for everyone! There are llamas in the field, delicious chocolate at Trenance Chocolate, and wonderful artwork in Gallery Anthony. Whether it is a rainy day you are looking to fill or a hot summer day, the Centre is a fantastic place to visit.
Then, of course, there is the coffee shop—I highly recommend the hot chocolate! There is Rock Paper Scissors for all your card and crafty needs – also selling locally made gifts. There are various other shops selling a wide variety of things, from wax melts to crystals and skincare products made with beeswax, to a little round shop filled with wool of every colour. This is the perfect place to find a thoughtful gift. Regardless of the Cornwall weather, the Centre has something for everyone!
Dogs are welcome inside all the shops apart from the Chocolate shop. And if you need anything for your furry friend, there is a fantastic pet shop in Mullion run by my son Greg and his partner Luce – Petz of Mullion
